Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains how cancellations, refunds, and fee adjustments work for services provided by Futzen eTechnologies Pvt. Ltd. (“Futzen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Because we primarily deliver professional consulting and brokerage services—not retail products—refund eligibility depends on the type of engagement and work already performed.

1. General Principles

• All fees are linked to professional time, expertise, and third-party costs incurred on your behalf.
• Where a signed proposal, statement of work, or contract contains specific refund/cancellation terms, those terms take priority over this policy.
• Insurance premiums paid to insurers / underwriters are governed by the insurer’s policy wording and are generally not refundable by Futzen beyond what the insurer allows.

2. IT Solutions & Consulting

2.1 Advance / retainer fees

Advance payments or retainers secure project scheduling and cover initial discovery work. If you cancel before any kickoff or billable work begins, we may refund the advance after deducting a reasonable administrative fee (typically up to 10%), provided the cancellation request is received in writing within seven (7) days of payment.

2.2 Milestone-based projects

Fees for completed milestones are non-refundable. For an incomplete milestone cancelled by you:

• We will invoice (or retain) fees proportional to work completed and third-party costs already committed.
• Any unused balance of a prepaid amount for that milestone may be refunded after reconciliation.

2.3 Subscriptions & retainers

Monthly or recurring service retainers are generally non-refundable for the current billing period once the period has started. You may cancel future periods by giving written notice as stated in your agreement (or at least 15 days before the next billing date if not otherwise specified).

3. Real Estate Advisory

Advisory and consulting fees for property evaluation, documentation support, or transaction facilitation are charged for professional services rendered. Once a consultation, site visit, report, or document package has been delivered, related fees are non-refundable.

If Futzen fails to commence agreed advisory work within a commercially reasonable time for reasons solely within our control, you may request a full or partial refund of unused prepaid advisory fees.

Brokerage commissions or success fees (if applicable) are governed by the engagement letter and typically become payable upon successful transaction milestones defined therein.

4. Insurance Services

• Service / facilitation fees charged by Futzen for advisory or paperwork assistance may be refundable only if no substantive work has started and cancellation is requested in writing within seven (7) days of payment.
• Insurance premiums are paid to the insurer. Refunds, free-look periods, cancellations, and claim-related matters follow the insurer’s policy terms and applicable IRDAI / Indian insurance regulations. Futzen can help you raise a request with the insurer but does not control premium refund decisions.
• Once a proposal is submitted to an insurer and underwriting costs or medical exams have been arranged, related out-of-pocket costs may be non-refundable.

5. How to Request a Refund

Email info@futzen.com with:

1. Your full name and contact details
2. Invoice / payment reference and date of payment
3. Service engaged and reason for the refund request
4. Any supporting documents

We aim to acknowledge requests within three (3) business days and complete review within ten (10) business days. Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within seven to fourteen (7–14) business days after approval, subject to bank / payment gateway timelines.

6. Non-Refundable Items

Unless required by law or expressly agreed otherwise, the following are non-refundable:

• Fees for work already completed and delivered
• Third-party costs already paid or irrevocably committed (hosting, licences, underwriting fees, travel, filings, etc.)
• Custom development, designs, reports, or documents already prepared for you
• Insurance premiums after the insurer’s applicable free-look / cancellation window has expired
• Charges resulting from incorrect information supplied by you

7. Cancellations by Futzen

If we cancel an engagement before delivery for reasons within our control (and not due to your breach, non-payment, or incomplete information), we will refund any prepaid fees for undelivered work, after deducting documented third-party costs already incurred with your authorisation.

8. Chargebacks

Please contact us before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback. Unwarranted chargebacks may result in suspension of services and recovery of associated fees. We will work in good faith to resolve billing concerns directly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. For active contracts, refund terms in that contract continue to apply unless both parties agree otherwise in writing.
